Individual Psychotherapy

Providing a safe and supportive space for personal growth

What I Offer

Psychotherapy Sessions

I work with:

  • adults who are navigating stress, transitions, identity questions, or simply a desire to better understand themselves
  • couples who struggle in their relationship, or who are facing difficulties with their children
  • kids and teens who are feeling left out, overwhelmed, or caught in endless screen time, doomscrolling, and digital overload

Therapy is not about quick fixes. It’s about creating a space where you can explore what matters most, at your own pace, without judgment.

Sessions may focus on:

  • Managing stress, anxiety, or difficult emotions
  • Working through life transitions or relationship challenges
  • Understanding recurring patterns in thoughts or behavior
  • Building resilience and a stronger sense of self
  • Techniques for beating screen addiction or other behavioral habits

Sessions are available online or preferably in person at my clinic in central Copenhagen.

How I Work

My approach is integrative: I draw on psychotherapy training, coaching techniques, and decades of experience working with people in demanding environments.

My training as a psychotherapist started officially at Sisifos Center for Psychotherapy in Copenhagen. My approach is deeply rooted in philosophy. All modern science is fundamentally based on the philosophical pursuit, which has always attempted to answer "big picture" questions.

Psychology is itself a fairly new field of study within science, and we still have much to learn, even with the amazing advents of neuroscience, AI, and behavioral pattern recognition. Ultimately, my psychotherapy practice attempts to get back to the basics, and examines how we as hominids with powerful frontal cortexes are driven mainly by instincts, emotions, and logic. Finding harmony among these three aspects is often the key to well-being.

I don’t come with a rigid formula. Instead, I listen, ask questions, and help you connect the dots. Sometimes that means uncovering old patterns; sometimes it means finding new perspectives or tools.

I believe therapy works best when it feels like a real conversation. Warm, direct, and grounded in trust. It is never easy. If it feels simple, we're doing it wrong. It requires hard work and dedication, and my main role is that of guide, not guru. It's your journey.

What to Expect

Psychotherapy is all about investing longterm in yourself

After putting in the work, many clients notice:

  • Greater clarity about themselves and their choices
  • More ease in navigating difficult emotions
  • Improved relationships and communication
  • A stronger sense of balance and well-being
  • Deeper contentment — not unbridled happiness
